Kathmandu, February 5
Former Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai has been bereaved of his father. His father, Bhoj Prasad Bhattarai, 97, breathed his last at the Kathmandu-based Neuro Hospital Bansbari this morning, Bhattarai’s daughter Manushi Yami Bhattarai told.
“Our grandfather had entered 97 after completing 96 years. He passed away this morning,” she informed. His last rites were performed at Pashupati Aryaghat today. Two sons and two daughters survive the late Bhattarai.
